Sustainability, Renewable Energy and Climate Action Programme

Tagline: For a greener, cleaner and climate-resilient tomorrow

In response to global environmental challenges, we undertake climate change research, environmental education, and sustainable practices. The programme addresses issues of biodiversity conservation, natural resource management, pollution, and climate resilience. The programme also focuses on promoting clean and renewable in-situ and ex-situ energy solutions such as solar, wind, and bio-energy for sustainable growth. The renewable energy programme team works with communities, institutions and industries to encourage adoption of green technologies, improve energy efficiency, crop residue management and reduce dependence on fossil fuels. The initiative not only contributes to climate action but also enhances energy access and green livelihood opportunities in rural and urban areas. Activities include impact studies, training workshops, advocacy campaigns, and partnerships to integrate climate-sensitive policies into local and national frameworks.
